Final CONMEBOL Libertadores
  • Corinthians will contest their fourth consecutive Final as they seek a seventh continental title.

  • Cruzeiro, making their debut in the competition, will aim to cap a perfect campaign with their maiden triumph.

The CONMEBOL Libertadores Femenina 2026 will reach its climax this Saturday, 31 October, at the Estadio Rodrigo Paz Delgado in Quito, Ecuador. Corinthians and Cruzeiro will face off for the title after winning every match they have played in the tournament. The defending champions will look to extend their dominance, while the Belo Horizonte side will aim to complete an unforgettable debut campaign.

Both Brazilian teams head into the decider with five wins from five matches. Corinthians have scored 21 goals and conceded just two, while Cruzeiro have found the net 12 times and conceded only once. Their paths will converge in one final showdown, pitting the experience of the competition's most successful side against the ambition of the newcomers.

Corinthians eye another continental triumph

With six titles already to their name, Corinthians have the opportunity to claim their fourth consecutive crown. In this edition, they defeated Colo-Colo, Caracas and Independiente Santa Fe in the Group Stage before thrashing Independiente del Valle 5-0 in the Quarter-finals.

In the Semi-finals, Emily Lima's side had to overcome adversity. Santa Fe took the lead through Daniela Garavito, but Leticia Monteiro equalised before half-time and Gi Fernandes completed the comeback to seal a 2-1 victory.

The fightback against the Colombian side sent Corinthians back to the Final. After a campaign defined by their attacking firepower, the São Paulo outfit also demonstrated their ability to find a way through a closely contested encounter and keep their hopes of lifting the trophy once again alive.

Cruzeiro one step away from a historic debut

Cruzeiro topped their group with victories over L.D.U. Quito, Bolívar and Olimpia before eliminating Libertad with a 3-0 win in the Quarter-finals. In the Semi-finals, they faced Paraguayan side Olimpia once again and edged to a narrow victory.

Marília Furiel scored the only goal of the match, pouncing on a rebound off the crossbar following a free-kick from Byanca Brasil. In the closing stages, a crucial save from Camila Rodrigues secured qualification for Jonas Urias' side.

With four consecutive clean sheets, Cruzeiro now face the biggest challenge of their maiden campaign: overcoming the defending champions. Their defensive solidity will be one of their key assets as they look to contain an opponent who have maintained an impressive attacking output throughout the tournament.

Quito will host a showdown between two unbeaten sides. Corinthians will look to add another chapter to their continental history, while Cruzeiro have the chance to write the most significant one of their own. The final match of the CONMEBOL Libertadores Femenina 2026 will determine who claims the 'Glory Belongs to Them'.
