The groups for the CONMEBOL Libertadores Femenina 2026 have now been confirmed. The draw held on Monday 14 September at CONMEBOL headquarters in Luque, Paraguay, determined the opening challenges for the 16 teams that will compete for the Glória Eterna in Ecuador.
Featuring representatives from all ten Member Associations, the continental tournament will be played from 15 to 31 October. Corinthians, champions of the 2025 edition, will begin their title defence as the seeded team in Group A, while Independiente del Valle will head Group B as national champions of the host country.
CONMEBOL Libertadores Femenina 2026 groups
- Group A: Corinthians (BRA), Colo-Colo (CHI), Caracas FC (VEN) and Colombia Representative 2.
- Group B: Independiente del Valle (ECU), Belgrano (ARG), Universidad de Deportes (PER) and Palmeiras (BRA).
- Group C: Cruzeiro (BRA), L.D.U. Quito (ECU), Bolívar (BOL) and Olimpia (PAR).
- Group D: Colombia Representative 1, Libertad (PAR), Nacional (URU) and Universidad de Chile (CHI).
The road to The Eternal Glory
The Group Stage will consist of four groups of four teams. Each club will face the other three teams in its group once, with the top two sides from each group advancing to the Quarter-finals.
From that stage onwards, the competition will continue with single-match knockout ties until the new champions of South America are crowned. With the groups now confirmed, all 16 participants know the starting point on their road to the Glória Eterna.
