PUMA and the South American Football Confederation unveil the special edition of CUMBRE, the official match ball for the CONMEBOL Sudamericana 2026 Final. It will take centre stage on Saturday, 21 November at the Estadio Metropolitano Roberto Meléndez in Barranquilla, where Boca Juniors and Atlético Mineiro will compete for the title.
This version of CUMBRE was designed exclusively for the match. Against a white background, bands in shades of blue, accented with yellow lines, curve around the PUMA Cat, which appears in yellow alongside the tournament logo. The colour palette draws on CONMEBOL Sudamericana’s visual identity. The name CUMBRE, meaning “summit” in Spanish, evokes the pinnacle every club strives to reach, with the final representing the last step towards it.
Barranquilla will host the tournament’s final for the first time since the introduction of the single-match format, with the Metropolitano renovated for the occasion. For Boca Juniors and Atlético Mineiro, the title and a place in the CONMEBOL Recopa 2027 will be at stake.
CUMBRE is the official match ball of the CONMEBOL Libertadores and CONMEBOL Sudamericana 2026 and carries FIFA Quality Pro certification. The final edition retains the same construction used by players throughout the tournament. Its 12 equally sized panels distribute weight evenly. Moulded using high-frequency technology, they retain their shape, absorb less water and deliver a soft touch. Wider, deeper seams and a 3D-textured surface provide greater stability in flight.
Inside, a new POE foam delivers a firm touch and a more consistent bounce. The reinforced rubber bladder and PUMA Air Lock valve improve air retention, ensuring a consistent feel from the first minute to the last.
CUMBRE, the official match ball for the CONMEBOL Sudamericana 2026 Final, will be available from 28 October at PUMA.com and PUMA stores.

About CONMEBOL
The South American Football Confederation, better known as CONMEBOL — a name derived from the abbreviation of its Spanish name used in cable communications — is the confederation of South America’s national football associations (federations).
Founded on 9 July 1916 in Buenos Aires, it is the world’s oldest confederation, established almost 40 years before the next confederations were formed.
CONMEBOL grew out of a tournament between South American nations. The first Copa América, held in Buenos Aires in 1916 to commemorate the centenary of Argentina’s independence, marked the beginning of the institution, whose founding members were the associations of Argentina, Brazil, Chile and Uruguay. The remaining South American associations subsequently joined CONMEBOL: Paraguay (1921), Peru (1925), Bolivia (1926), Ecuador (1927), Colombia (1936) and Venezuela (1953).
It is the only football confederation whose member associations are all also affiliated with FIFA and the International Olympic Committee (IOC).
Its ten member national associations are CONMEBOL’s greatest source of pride.
