The draw will set the initial path for all participants, who will be divided into eight groups of four clubs. Each side will play six matches—three at home and three away—in a bid to secure a place in the round of 16 of South America’s premier club competition.

The 32 qualified clubs will learn the composition of the eight groups and take the first step on their continental journey. The group stage will be played between April 7 and May 28, with the top two teams from each group advancing to the round of 16.
