Welcome to the CONMEBOL Sudamericana draw!
This Thursday, March 19, starting at 20:00 (Paraguay time), the fate of the 32 teams in the 2026 group stage will be decided.
On a key night for South American football, the qualified clubs will learn their opponents and the path they must take in the group stage on the road to the continental title.
The Group Stage draw will take place at CONMEBOL’s headquarters in Luque, Paraguay, starting at 20:00 (local time).
The kickoff times across the rest of the continent are as follows:
- 20:00 – Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Paraguay and Uruguay
- 19:00 – Bolivia and Venezuela
- 18:00 – Colombia, Ecuador and Peru
From that moment, the initial roadmap for the 32 participating teams will be defined, as they are split into eight groups of four clubs. Each team will play six matches—three at home and three away—in pursuit of a place in the round of 16, which will be awarded to each group winner. The runners-up, meanwhile, will advance to the round of 16 playoffs.
