  • The second legs of the CONMEBOL Sudamericana semi-finals gave football fans two thrilling finishes, full of goals and drama, and confirmed the two finalists who will travel to Barranquilla aiming to lift the trophy.

  • The Great Conquest now knows its protagonists: Boca Juniors and Atlético Mineiro will contest the final at the Estadio Metropolitano Roberto Meléndez on 21 November.

The CONMEBOL Sudamericana is entering the final stretch on the road to the Grand Final, with the finalists now confirmed.

Boca Juniors, champions in 2003 and 2004, claimed an authoritative 3-1 win over Vasco da Gama in Rio de Janeiro after losing the first leg 1-0 at La Bombonera. The Argentine side will therefore contest a continental final again after three years, having lost to Fluminense in the decisive match of the CONMEBOL Libertadores in 2023.

Atlético Mineiro, last season's runners-up, held on to the advantage they built in Brazil (a 3-0 first-leg win) despite losing 2-0 to Montevideo City Torque in the Uruguayan capital. Eduardo Domínguez's side will be looking to avenge last year's defeat, when they lost the final to Lanús on penalties.

Here is a look back at the key moments from the second legs of the CONMEBOL Sudamericana semi-finals.
