- CONMEBOL has announced how the Round of 16 series will be played following the rescheduling of the first leg in Colombia
- Deportes Tolima will host Independiente del Valle on 18 August
The South American Football Confederation – CONMEBOL – has confirmed the schedule for the CONMEBOL Libertadores Round of 16 tie between Deportes Tolima and Independiente del Valle, following the postponement of the first leg due to the devastating earthquake that struck Colombia on 10 August.
The first leg will be played on Tuesday, 18 August, at 19:30 local time, at the Estadio Manuel Murillo Toro in Ibagué, where Deportes Tolima will host Independiente del Valle in the opening match of the tie.
The return leg will take place one week later, on Tuesday, 25 August, also at 19:30 local time, at the Estadio Banco Guayaquil in Quito, where Independiente del Valle will host the Colombian side.

The winner of the tie will advance to the Quarter-finals of the 2026 CONMEBOL Libertadores, where they will face the winner of the clash between Flamengo and Cruzeiro, continuing their journey in pursuit of 'Eternal Glory'.
