CONMEBOL Libertadores Futsal Femenina 2026 Draw: date, time, teams, pots and procedure

The draw will be held at CONMEBOL headquarters in Luque, Paraguay, and will be broadcast live on the CONMEBOL Libertadores YouTube channel.
Ten clubs representing CONMEBOL’s ten Member Associations will take part.

The Competitions and Operations Department of the South American Football Confederation announced that the draw for the Group Stage of the CONMEBOL Libertadores Futsal Femenina 2026 will take place on Monday, September 14, at 12:00 p.m. local time, at CONMEBOL headquarters in Luque, Paraguay.

The continental tournament will be played in Argentina from November 7 to 14, 2026.

The draw will be broadcast live on the CONMEBOL Libertadores YouTube channel.

CONMEBOL Libertadores Futsal Femenina 2026 competition format

The CONMEBOL Libertadores Futsal Femenina 2026 will be played in two stages: the Preliminary Stage (Group Stage) and the Final Stage (Semi-finals, Final and the placement matches from 3rd to 9th place). All stages will be played in a single round of matches.

The Preliminary Stage will feature the 10 qualified teams, divided into two groups of five teams each. The top two teams in each group will qualify for the Semi-finals.

The position each team will occupy within its group will be determined by the draw.

CONMEBOL Libertadores Futsal Femenina 2026 draw procedure

The composition of the groups for the CONMEBOL Libertadores Futsal Femenina 2026 will be determined as follows:

i. The seeded teams for each group of the CONMEBOL Libertadores Futsal Femenina 2026 will be determined as follows:

Group A (Position A1) – The team representing the host Member Association will be placed as the seeded team in Group A. (Club Ferro Carril Oeste - ARG)
Group B (Position B1) – The team representing the reigning champion Member Association will be placed as the seeded team in Group B. (Stein Cascavel Futsal - BRA)

ii. Pot 1 will contain the teams representing the highest-ranked Member Associations according to the final standings of the previous edition of the tournament. They will occupy position 2 in each group. (Exa Ysaty F.C. – PAR and C.A. Peñarol – URU). The first ball drawn will be assigned to position A2 and the second to position B2.

iii. Pot 2 will contain the teams representing the next highest-ranked Member Associations according to the final standings of the previous edition of the tournament. They will occupy position 3 in each group. (C.D. Llaneros - COL and Victor Muriel - BOL). The first ball drawn will be assigned to position A3 and the second to position B3.

iv. Pot 3 will contain the teams representing the next highest-ranked Member Associations according to the final standings of the previous edition of the tournament. They will occupy position 4 in each group. (Representative of Venezuela and Universidad de Chile - CHI). The first ball drawn will be assigned to position A4 and the second to position B4.

v. Pot 4 will contain the teams representing the next-ranked Member Associations according to the final standings of the previous edition of the tournament. They will occupy position 5 in each group. (Club Deportivo La Unión – ECU and Mecatrónica F.C. - PER). The first ball drawn will be assigned to position A5 and the second to position B5.
