- The draw will take place at CONMEBOL headquarters at 16:00 (Paraguay time) and will be streamed live on the CONMEBOL Libertadores YouTube channel.
- The 12 participating teams will be drawn into three groups of four. Defending champions Vasco da Gama will be seeded in Group A.
The groups for the CONMEBOL Libertadores Beach Soccer 2026 will be determined on Tuesday, 3 November. The draw will take place at CONMEBOL headquarters in Luque, Paraguay, from 16:00 (local time), setting up the opening matchups between the 12 clubs competing for the continental title.

The competition will be played in two stages: the Preliminary Stage, featuring three groups of four teams, and the Final Stage, comprising the quarter-finals, semi-finals, final and placement matches to determine positions from third to 12th. All stages will be played in a single round-robin format.
The top two teams from each group, along with the two best third-placed teams, will advance to the quarter-finals.
Draw procedure
Vasco da Gama, winners of the 2025 edition, will automatically occupy position A1. The other two seeded teams will be determined by a draw between Brazil's Juventus and Paraguay's Sportivo Luqueño, based on their countries' final standings in the previous edition.
Both clubs will be placed in Pot 1. The first team drawn will occupy position B1, while the second will take position C1.
The remaining pots will determine the other positions in each group. In each pot, the first team drawn will be allocated to Group A, the second to Group B and the third to Group C.
Accordingly, Pot 2 will determine positions A2, B2 and C2; Pot 3 will determine positions A3, B3 and C3; and Pot 4 will determine positions A4, B4 and C4. The distribution is based on the final standings of the previous edition, with the host country's additional representative included in the final pot.
The draw pots
Group A seed: Vasco da Gama (BRA).
- Pot 1: Juventus (BRA) and Sportivo Luqueño (PAR).
- Pot 2: Chilean representative, Peruvian representative and Sportivo Cerrito (URU).
- Pot 3: Hamacas (BOL), C. A. Argentino (ARG) and Guaicamacuto (VEN).
- Pot 4: Colombian representative, Jocay Central (ECU) and América (BRA).
The representatives from Chile, Peru and Colombia have not been named in the draw guidelines.
The road to the title
The eight teams advancing from the Group Stage will contest the quarter-finals, with the following matchups:
- Match 1: Group A winners vs. second-best third-placed team.
- Match 2: Group B winners vs. best third-placed team.
- Match 3: Group C winners vs. Group A runners-up.
- Match 4: Group B runners-up vs. Group C runners-up.
In the semi-finals, the winner of Match 1 will face the winner of Match 4, while the winners of Matches 2 and 3 will meet in the other tie. The winners will advance to the final, while the losing teams will contest the third-place play-off.
The teams eliminated in the quarter-finals will compete for fifth to eighth place. Meanwhile, the lowest-ranked of the three third-placed teams from the Group Stage will face the best fourth-placed team in the ninth-place play-off, while the other two fourth-placed teams will contest the 11th-place play-off.
